The pioneering US food concept Eggslut has confirmed the first site for the UK in West London. The casual dining concept will launch in early Summer 2019, taking prime location at 185 Portobello Road.
Nestled in the heart of Notting Hill, Portobello Road plays host to foodie institutions and thriving independent bakeries, delis and more. The first location for the US brand will be flanked by independent retailers and established brands, serving their iconic menu and fresh made-to-order dishes using quality ingredients.
Popular Eggslut menu items include The Slut, made from a coddled egg on top of a smooth potato puree, poached in a glass jar, and served with baguette slices, and The Fairfax, a sandwich made from soft scrambled eggs and cheese, served in a brioche bun.
Key existing sites include a flagship in Grand Central Market in Los Angeles, a restaurant in the Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas and the company’s first international outpost in Beirut.
Founded by Alvin Cailan, Eggslut aims to make eggs appetising all day, every day, offering a menu that balances comfort with innovation. The brand prides itself on the quality and taste of its food, with everything made fresh to order, using quality ingredients.
