Trio of executive appointments underscore UK cleantech’s focus on delivering value for customers as global waste and recycling industry embraces digital transformation
ISB Global, the UK-based provider of software to waste management operators around the world, is bolstering its global partnerships and scaling up its customer-facing operations with a trio of executive appointments, as the company looks to gain new waste management operator customers for its advanced resource planning software product, Waste and Recycling One (WR1).
The three appointments follow a successful 12 months for ISB Global in which the company grew its revenue by 43 percent. The appointments also come at a time when waste management operators worldwide are exploring how to best use new technology to digitise their operations and boost performance, efficiency and profitability.
Pinal Gandhi joins ISB Global as Global Alliances Lead and will be responsible for managing and developing the company’s strategic partnerships with blue-chip partners including enterprise resource planning firm SAP, cloud computing provider AWS, and OutSystems, the low-code business app development platform.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Gandhi said, “ISB Global’s strategic partnerships underpin our company and our products. They are vital in encouraging innovation, delivering value to customers, and driving growth. Our partners also play an integral role in ensuringthat our offerings properly meet customers’ business and operational priorities.
“My goal is to forge deeper, stronger connections with our key partners and work with them on joint go-to-market initiatives that address the evolving needs of waste management operators around the world, including the strategically important North American market: and to also expand ISB Global’s reach by co-marketing and co-selling products and services using shared partner channels.”
Also joining ISB Global is Andy Crofts in the role of Global Sales Director: and Bob Suvan, who becomes Account Director. Both new hires bring with them decades of hands-on experience in the waste and recycling sector.
In his new position, Mr Crofts will be responsible for driving commercial growth and consulting with prospective customers to identify how ISB Global’s flagship WR1 solution can solve their waste management operational challenges and boost performance as well.
Mr Suvan will be responsible for overseeing key clients to ensure they receive ongoing high-quality support, and that ISB’s solutions perform at a high level and deliver the required results on a consistent basis.
Commenting on the new appointments, ISB Global founder and CEO Chris Williams said,“Digital technologies such as AI, analytics, automation and the IoT are transforming the waste and recycling industry. ISB Global is committed to playing a leading role in this transformation, and we see enormous potential for waste management operators to use thesetechnologies to evolve their operations and meet new challenges – whether it’s new regulatory compliance: or managing extra complexity from sorting, reusing and recycling a growing range of waste materials. Pinal, Andy and Bob’s arrival puts us in the driving seat to unlock this potential.
Williams continued, “Having in place a world-class team is crucial to our mission to provide the world’s most advanced environmental, waste management and recycling software solution. Technology is a key enabler for changing for the better how governments, business and communities deal with waste as part of the wider transition to a more circular economy and healthier, more sustainable way of life.”
