Altitude London, one of London’s most renowned events space, is now under new ownership. Industry veteran Alan Turtill is taking the helm as Managing Director, with a career spanning 25 years in events. He has worked at many of the capital’s leading venues including Kensington Roof Gardens, Paramount and Century Members Club.
Supporting Alan in his new career path are successful entrepreneurs Mike Hockey and Sam Simpson, who also have extensive experience within the industry.
“We are very excited to confirm that we have acquired Altitude London, not only because it is housed in such an iconic building with incredible views but because we feel it is one of the best event spaces in London. We look forward to reinstating it as ‘the place’ to hold your event at in London,” commented Alan Turtill.
This new and exciting chapter for the venue will see the return of some of Altitude London’s signature in-house events, including the Industry Summer Party and the spectacular New Year’s Eve event, offering unrivalled views of the London Eye and prime seats for the stunning firework display.
“We are working hard to bring new innovative packages and experiences to Millbank Tower and look forward to delivering excellent service and building fantastic relationships with our agency and direct customers,” said Mike Hockey.
Located at the top of the grade II listed Millbank Tower, Altitude is the leading destination when it comes to notable events. Situated on the ground floor, the Millbank Media Centre includes its own 270 seat cinema, as well as a spacious outdoor terrace. Alongside it, there is Skyloft, a warehouse style space that features exposed brickwork and wooden floors; while in contrast, Altitude 360 is a bright modern space with breath-taking 360 degree views of the city.
