The Bloomsbury Club Bar is offering a unique and interesting twist on ‘Dry January’ – a cocktail menu featuring a variety of Dry spirits. For many, the start of a new year means a month spent detoxing after the indulgent holidays; however The Bloomsbury Club Bar believes there’s no need for January to be a period of restrictions and gloom – this month has the potential to be as fruitful as any other.
The Dry January cocktail list, offers dry twists on modern classics created by Head Bartender Charlotte Charret. Dry White Negroni (£8) known as ‘The Refresher’ made with Lillet Blanc, Suze, Riesling Wine, Orange Bitters a slice of orange. Dry Coffee Cocktail (£8) known as ‘The Rebuilder’ made up of Amaro Montenegro, Angostura Orange Bitters. Finally, the Dry Adonis (£8) is a Martini with a dry twist Lustau Red Vermut infused with Berries, Oloroso Sherry, and Angostura Orange Bitters, stirred and finished off with fresh orange peel. A selection of dry wines will also be available from the bars extensive wine list and the drinks on this special menu will be served to guests with a 20% discount for the duration of the month.
On the other hand, The Coral Room will collaborate with the acclaimed non-alcoholic spirit Seedlip, proving that fun can still be had following the indulgent Christmas break with an exclusive ‘Dry January’ cocktail menu.
Health conscious cocktail lovers and dry January-goers will be invited to explore the bespoke menu created by charismatic General Manager Giovanni Spezziga in collaboration with talented Head Bartender, Stefan Pohlod.
Available now, the menu includes: Seeing In The Dark, Seedlip Spice 94, Rhubarb & Cardamom Syrup, Freshly Squeezed Carrot Juice, Chia Seeds (£8), Living Coral Cocktail (Inspired by the Pantone Colour Of The Year 2019) Seedlip Spice 108, Pomelo & Pink Pepper Tonic, Cactus Water, Seaweed (£8), Bitter Sweet Grove Seedlip Grove 42, Bitter Orange & Elderflower Tonic, Coconut Oil (£8) and Gimlet 94, Seedlip 94, Fennel Seeds, Blackcurrant Leaf Syrup, Apple Acid (£8).
Continuing the dry January theme and alongside the partnership with Seedlip, The Bloomsbury will also be collaborating with one of the UK’s most innovative food & drink businesses and bottled cocktail specialists, the ‘World of Zing’, and will be offering guests staying in the hotel’s beautiful luxury suites the world’s first in room non-alcoholic cocktail, Gimlet 94.
