Following the success of Bean & Wheat’s inaugural beer-pairing event, the next collaboration for Adam Handing’s zero waste café and beer shop will be taking place on Friday 14th June and it’s called The Wild Beer Co.
Showcasing their latest beer portfolio, guests will be presented with seven speciality craft beers such as Hook Island Red and Old Greg’s Barley Wine and a Q&A session with the brewery owners. The matching tasting menu from the award-winning The Frog Hoxton included delectable dishes such as, ‘Trout, buckwheat, passion fruit’, ‘Cod, corn, morels, ponzu and ‘Sutton Hoo chicken, spring vegetables, wild garlic dumplings’.
As part of a series of events running throughout the year, Bean & Wheat is collaborating with some of Europe’s best independent microbreweries including Burning Sky, Mikkeller and vegan brewery Verdant Brewing Company. The cafe and beer shop offers a unique experience for guests to discover forward-thinking speciality craft beers, which have been expertly paired with a bespoke tasting menu from Chef Adam Handling’s award-winning restaurant, The Frog Hoxton.
The chefs at The Frog Hoxton will take guests through each innovative course to explain how the chosen ingredients perfectly complement the individual characteristics of its matched beer. Guests will also have the opportunity to quiz the brewery owners themselves at an exclusive Q&A session.
