DropZone Brewery is delighted to launch a limited-edition range of canned beers to mark Remembrance Day – with 100% of profits donated to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
The Remembrance Day cans are filled with DropZone’s premium lager, Red On – a tasty, crisp, easy-to-drink beer inspired by the veterans who launched DropZone and their time spent training and serving in harsh locations, craving a cold beer with their comrades.
DropZone has been committed to supporting current and former servicepeople since its inception in early 2021. 20% of profits from its military-themed beers and coffee are donated to causes enriching the armed forces community, which has so far supported veterans in their efforts to help sufferers of post-traumatic stress disorder combat the condition.
Sean Crawford, founder of DropZone, said: “Remembrance Day is such an important day for those who have served in the military and for the country as a whole.
“We’ve always been committed to enriching the veteran community, but this is such a pertinent time to commemorate those who have fallen in service of theircountry, so it felt natural as a military brand to support a cause that does so much to help soldiers and their families.
“Here at DropZone we want to help in any way that we can and we hope the veteran community and the rest of the British public can behind us so we can all support this fantastic cause.”
The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion’s biggest fundraising campaign held every year in November, during the period of Remembrance.
Red On was the first of DropZone’s brews, the name of which playing on its roots in the Airborne Forces. It has gone on to launch a premium cider, Green on Go, as well as a lively and summery IPA by the name of Buckshee.
