Spicy Melons was originally a mix-up. Mixtons Mixologist Ranj accidentally mixed two recipes together and this was the result – and friends and family LOVED the flavoursome fluke. Fast forward to the festivals and live music events that Mixtons serve at, and consumers were asking for more chilli – so Spicy Melons v2 was made – in response to the UK’s passion for picante and just in time for Cinco de Mayo celebrations.

After realising canned cocktails only had 6 flavours available, founders Xav, Ranj and Sim started to come up with new and inspired recipes during lockdown as they socialised on zoom. Friends loved them and within 12 months, they’d sold 200k cocktails, all created and delivered by hand by themselves from Sim’s kitchen. Now Mixtons are about to announce 2 upcoming major retail listings, exclusive festival partnerships across the summeras well as with Winter Wonderland.
