Each luxury car provides drivers with unforgettable sensations and a unique style. However, the mass production of these cars often dilutes their uniqueness, making it challenging to stand out. Yet, some manufacturers understand the desire for individuality and offer unique car assembly solutions tailored to personal needs. One such manufacturer is Mercedes, which presented exclusive Designo customization, a privilege reserved for those who seek to elevate their luxury car experience. Recently, Mercedes rebranded Designo and introduced the Manufaktur label. According to the LLLparts team, Manufaktur offers customers a more extensive choice of exterior paint colors and interior trim, material, and color options to personalize their cars according to their desires.
What does the Manufaktur offer?
The Manufaktur program provides many materials, mercedes parts, paints, and finishes for selected models. Customers can choose from deep, glossy, or contemporary matte colors for the exterior. The interior can be adorned with soft Nappa leather seats, available in single or dual tones, and a uniquely finished ceiling. The cabin finish possibilities include exotic woods, detailed hand-stitched leathers, and even stone granite touches. Of course, the number of models that can be modified under the Manufaktur program is limited. The manufacturer allows customers to change only the E-Class, S-Class, G-Class, and AMG GT models. The manufacturer applies a wider selection of modifications to the G-Class models. There are 26 different G Manufaktur paint colors and Black accent variants with gloss black finishes on components such as the fender flares, roof, bumpers, mirrors, and more. Interior features include a selection of 64-seat color combinations in three patterns and an option to order composite colors on the dashboard and steering wheel. Also, the G Manufaktur badge is visible on the stainless steel trim of the passenger grab bar.
Uniqueness is a lasting value
In the future, Mercedes-Benz intends to introduce the Manufaktur paint finishes and equipment packages to its sub-brands, such as Mercedes-EQ and Mercedes-Maybach. This means that even electric cars will soon be able to be uniquely equipped, unique, and luxurious. Such a decision proves that the manufacturer is constantly trying to adapt to the changing trends of the transport market and offer customers as many unique solutions as possible.
It is also important to note that every, even the slightest, change in the car’s configuration costs additional money, so it is rare to see individual Mercedes cars on the streets. For example, a brand-new custom Mercedes G-Class model can cost several hundred thousand pounds. Specialists at lllparts.co.uk say that each unique solution for completing a Mercedes car can be considered an investment because it turns mass-produced car models into practically one-of-a-kind. This automatically means that the probability that the value of such a car will fall in the future is almost impossible. Often, the opposite can be the case; the value can increase significantly over the years, and once you figure out how to sell one, wealthy car collectors can likely shell out vast amounts of money.
