Bringing great taste to Regents Park, Villa Poretti will showcase the best of Italian craftsmanship, indulgent food pairings and immersive cooking experiences at Taste of London 2024. Partnering with acclaimed Chefs Simon Stallard, Thomas Straker, Gennaro Contaldo and more, Poretti will treat everyone to a slice of Italy.
Birrificio Angelo Poretti will transport Taste of London goers to the beautiful shores of Lake Como this summer. Popping up from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th June, Poretti’s Villa Poretti promises an incredible schedule of culinary delights across the five day food festival and will host well-known chefs Simon Stallard, Thomas Straker, Gennaro Contaldo and more as they present special live cooking demonstrations, delicious dishes for sampling and more. Guests will enjoy fun filled feasting accompanied by effervescent glasses of Poretti lager at the stunning two story Villa Poretti bar.
On Wednesday 12th June, Saturday 15th June and Sunday 16th June, Villa Poretti will welcome British Chef and Founder of the Hidden Hut and The Standard Inn, Simon Stallard, known for his unique and innovative style of grill cooking, from amazing fire pits to bbqs to wood-fire rotisseries, Simon will showcase his famous Poretti seared scallops, along with a smoked cauliflower and Poretti Napoletani.
On Thursday 13th June, Gennaro Contaldo, one of the UK’s best-loved chefs and Author of 14 books, with the newest launched this year, Gennaro’s Verdure, will create a delicious Italian-inspired Carbonara Di Asparagus, using seasonal produce. Chef and Founder of West London’s Strakers restaurant and All Things Butter, Thomas Straker, will dish up his renowned flatbreads. From the classic Italian Vesuvio Tomato and Stracciatella flatbread to a Strakers favourite – the Burnt Chilli Mussel Butter flatbread – everyone should stop by on Friday 14th June to grab a tasty limited edition bite, which is perfectly complemented by a cold Poretti beer.
From the moment guests step into Villa Poretti, situated next to the Fire Pit with Coca Cola Zero, they will be transported to the idyllic and charming Lake Como. With intricate design, hanging vines, tranquil fountains, lush greenery, and picturesque backdrops, Villa Poretti captures the timeless beauty of a grand villa’s courtyard on the shores of the Lake and is the ideal spot to enjoy a beer during Taste of London.
