As the summer unveils its sunny splendour, Volta do Mar, in collaboration with esteemed Portuguese winemakers Graham’s Port, is thrilled to announce the launch of its new terrace.
The sun-soaked outdoor dining area is the perfect setting to savour the vibrant flavours of the Portuguese-speaking world, surrounded by wildflowers and stunning decor, featuring flowers on each table, and candles and lanterns that illuminate the evening atmosphere.
Guests can indulge in Lusophone-inspired cocktails, including the Graham’s Port Spritz and Sunset on Gaia, crafted with Graham’s No.12, Rooibos, and Gingerbread Char Tea. As temperatures rise, cool off with their exclusive cocktail lollipops, available in White Port Spritz, Mango Margarita and Sunset on Gaia.
From the bustling streets of Brazil to the serene coastlines of Mozambique, Volta do Mar’s menu provides a panoramic view of Lusophone cuisine. Chef Isabel Almeida da Silva, drawing on her richly mixed heritage, prepares dishes steeped in the traditions of Portugal, Brazil, Africa, and Asia—each promising a memorable culinary adventure that enhances the al fresco dining experience.
The seasonally evolving menu is rooted in generations of family tradition, with many dishes passed down through volumes of family recipe books, each one serving up an authentic taste of Lusophone culture. Signature dishes include:

Macanese African Chicken ‘Galihna à Africana’ – Inspired by a trip to Mozambique, a Macenese chef added local spices to create this iconic dish and has since become a national institution

Diners can enjoy Volta Do Mar’s new set menu offering two courses for £24.50 or three courses for £29.50. It is available Tuesday to Friday 12-14:30 / 17:00-18:30.
