SEASON, The Exclusive Cookery School, located within Lainston House, an Exclusive Hotel near Winchester, has announced this year’s schedule of classes will include guest appearances from The Great British Bake Off contestant Beca Lyne Pirkis and Master Chocolatier Mark Tilling, offering cookery enthusiasts the opportunity to be taught by some of the UK’s most treasured chefs and culinary inspirators.
GBBO Beca Lyne Pirkis headlines with her ‘How to Turn Everyday Bakes into Show Stoppers’ and ‘Pies and Pastries’ courses in March and April respectively while Mark Tilling will host a ‘Chocolate Masterclass from a Chocolate Master’ for romantics ahead of Valentine’s Day in February and again in April during the Easter holidays for both children and adults.
In addition, Iain Baillie, a local Hampshire culinary expert and catering teacher at South Down College, brings his ‘Healthy Cooking’ course to SEASON, enabling guests to learn a fresh approach to food as well as pick up some important tips to see them through the year.
Classes held alongside guest chef appearances will be run by SEASON’s Cookery School Manager Sylvain Gachot, who brings his classic French training into play with his ‘Soufflé Masterclass’ and ‘The Art of French Cooking’ courses designed to improve the dinner party confidence of even the most novice cook.
Sylvain Gachot comments “Since opening SEASON last summer, we have been overwhelmed by the response to our class programme and are delighted to now bring another varied and diverse range of classes to the cookery school again this year. Working with local Hampshire guest chefs and culinary TV personalities who are much-loved by the British public brings another dimension to our offering and we look forward to a fantastic year of teaching and inspiring our SEASON guests.”
