Family-owned Foxhills Club & Resort continues its year-long 40th anniversary programme with two not-to-be-missed sport-focused events over the final Bank Holiday weekend of the summer. Families of members and non-members alike can watch some of tennis’ rising stars take to the courts or pick up some skills from a former England Rugby Captain.
Foxhills is proud to host the week-long LTA Aegon GB Pro-Series Ladies International Ladies tennis event that culminates in Finals Day on Saturday 29 August*. With eleven tennis courts surrounded by the scenic green vistas of the resort, spectators at the event will be reminded why Foxhills’ exceptional facilities have been previously voted Number One outdoor tennis resort in the UK.**
Ground passes for the Finals Day are an affordable £5, however members and non-members may wish to treat themselves to the ultimate courtside hospitality, starting with morning coffee and pastries served in spectacular style in The Manor House. Between the on-court action spectators will enjoy a 2-course lunch with a glass of bubbly and afternoon tea on the lawn. Hospitality packages are available for only £48 per member and £58 per non-member.
Foxhills is excited to complement England’s hosting of the Rugby World Cup (18 September to 31 October 2015) with a special rugby themed Family Fun Day, from 12pm-4.30pm on Sunday 30 August. Activities include a children’s skills session led by former England Rugby captain Lewis Moody, a fun touch rugby match, bouncy castle and an inflatable rodeo bull. Visitors can relax by the pool or enter a Fancy Dress competition; to celebrate Foxhills’ 40th birthday, guests are invited to dress in 1970s theme with a prize awarded for best-dressed girl, boy and adult. Entry is free to members; non-members £10 per adult and £5 per child, but be quick, places are limited.
