THE Park Hotels has launched its second Zone by THE Park hotel in the region of Rajasthan, India. The hotel is located in the centre of Jodhpur and it provides a chic and price-conscious accommodation for travellers looking to explore the ‘Blue City’. The room rates start from £50 to £90 per night.
The concept behind it was developed by the London-based design group Project Orange, who adorned the place in orange and turquoise. Zone by THE Park Jodhpur has 90 guest rooms, an auto-rickshaw gift shop, work and gaming zones and a Banquet Hall with a large outdoor lawn, perfect for large weddings, exhibitions and celebrations. There are also two restaurants available – Bazaar, which is an all-day dining restaurant that serves world cuisine, and Urban Spice Box, an exclusive Indian grill restaurant – and the Z Bar, where guests can enjoy a cocktail in the evenings.
Zone by THE Park Jodhpur is close to most means of transport, including the city’s airport and the railway station. It is also nearby landmarks such as Mehrangarh, one of India’s largest forts, and the Kaylana Lake. The hotel is the best place from where to start the journey around the vividly blue architecture of the city and its colourful bazaars.
“We are extremely delighted to launch our second property in Rajasthan, especially in Jodhpur as it is a discerning tourist’s destination with a reflection of history. The hotel is designed to meet the requirements of the price-conscious, design-conscious urban traveller. Witnessing the success of Zone Jaipur, we are confident that this hotel will play a key role in strengthening the brand. We are certain that the hotel will appeal to customers with its design and format,” commented at the launch Mr. Vijay Dewan, Managing Director, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Ltd.
Zone by THE Park hotels are present in cities such as Coimbatore, Jaipur, Chennai ORR, Raipur, and Bengaluru, with upcoming hotels in Pondicherry, Igatpuri and Goa. The brand will have 17 properties by 2020, which means it will be around 1,500 keys in the next four years.
