If you feel as though you are working out every single day, but you just aren’t seeing the kind of results you want, then you are not alone. So many people are in the same situation as you are right now, but it is important to know that if you do not take the time to get to the root of the issue, then you may find that you end up constantly wasting your efforts. Want to find out more? Keep on reading.
You are Yet to Change your Diet
If you workout constantly but have not changed your diet, then this could be a major issue. Dieting is 80% of losing weight, and although exercise can help you to speed up results, it is important that you put a primary focus on what you eat as well. You might want to use a food journal so that you can make sure that you are watching what you are eating. You don’t have to do this for long, in fact, a few weeks will suffice. If you can do this, then you will soon find that it is easier for you to watch what you are eating, and it will also make you more aware of your portion sizes too. If you are finding it hard to monitor what you are eating, then it could be worth consulting an experienced personal trainer.
You’re in a Rut
If you have been doing the same workout over and over again for months or even years on end, then this will be working against you. Sure, it is great that you are able to stick to your routine, but at the end of the day, you have to change things up if you want to see a difference in the results you are achieving. You have to be consistent and you also need to make sure that you are mixing it up. If you do cardio three times a week and if you lift weights twice a week then this is great, but don’t do the same exercise every time. Try a rowing machine one week and then an indoor exercise bike the next. If you can do this, then you will soon find that it is easier than ever for you to achieve the results you want.
You Sit down Too Much
This one might hit hard, but it is way harder for you to maintain your weight when you are sitting down all of the time. You might workout for an hour every day, but that doesn’t mean that sitting at a desk for 7 hours a day isn’t going to impact you. Try and be more active by walking around and by taking the stairs over the elevator. If you can keep yourself moving around, then this will really help you out and it will make it much easier for you to make sure that you are not compromising your workout routine without even realising. If you can make this change, then you’ll be sure to see the results you’re looking for and this will make it all worthwhile in the end.
