This strategic rebranding signals a transformative phase in the European personalised photo product market, highlighted by a strong financial performance with revenues exceeding EUR 340M and a loyal customer base of over 11 million. Coinciding with this brand renewal, the company has undergone a significant leadership change, with Alessandro Coppo stepping into the role of CEO, taking over the responsibilities from Tristan Money as of 8th February 2024. This leadership transition is a key aspect of the company’s strategic plan following its merger, designed to enhance operational integration, ignite innovation, and accelerate growth.
The significant announcements regarding the rebranding and leadership transition were made during an animated internal launch event, which connected employees from across Europe through live streams from Amsterdam, London, and Barcelona. Tristan Money, after leading the company through nine transformative years, including the landmark merger with Photobox in January 2022, handed over the leadership to Alessandro Coppo.
Alessandro Coppo brings to Storio group a wealth of over 25 years of industry experience, including impactful tenures at Boston Consulting Group and a significant 17-year period at eBay. His leadership at eBay, where he played a crucial role in growing the Classifieds Group’s revenues from $300M to over $1B, highlights his strategic acumen in utilizing technology to foster connections and craft secure, engaging commerce experiences. His extensive background is ideally suited to Storio group’s strategic goals and cultural ethos.
As CEO, Alessandro is set to build on the strong foundations laid by Tristan and the leadership team, aiming to develop Storio group into a renowned and beloved brand that connects people with their most cherished moments.
