The K Bar will be awash with Hollywood Glitz and Glamour on Sunday evening, to celebrate the biggest night of the year in the movie world. Enjoy all the action of the 91st Academy Awards with a screening accompanied by delicious cocktails and small plates from 9:00pm. Tickets to the event are priced at £25 and include access to the live viewing party and a welcome cocktail from The K Bar’s exclusive Oscars cocktail list.
The Oscar Nominee-inspired cocktails are all priced at £14 and will be available throughout the night. Highlights include Roma, a tipple influenced by the film’s setting in Mexico, alongside Bohemian Rhapsody; a strong but quirky drink full of British flamboyance inspired by The K Bar’s Royal address on Queen’s Gate. Other favourites include a Black Russian riff, Black Panther and a classic English Gin cocktail with a twist, The Favourite. The small plates menu includes delights such as Beef Ragu Arancini with Saffron, King Prawns served with Harissa Mayo alongside Pea Hummus to be enjoyed with Fresh Flat Bread & Spring Vegetable Crudités.
Celebrate the iconic event amidst the opulence of The Kensington’s K Bar, taking in the build-up of the A-list arrivals on the Dolby Theatre red carpet prior to the ceremony commencing at 1:30am. Alongside the cocktails created by newly-appointed bar manager Nuno Lage and small plates from The Kensington’s executive chef Adi Mandokhot, The K Bar’s extensive selection of premium wines, all available by the glass, will also be on offer throughout the evening.
