An enticing new weekend brunch menu with unlimited margaritas and a tempting array of delicious dishes has been launched by Ella Canta, the celebrated Mexican restaurant from renowned chef Martha Ortiz. Guests can indulge in the new, vibrant flavours 11.30am every Saturday and Sunday, with the option to enjoy three-courses and margaritas for just £45pp, or order dishes individually from the menu.
The brunch menu includes delicious starters from the Mexican cuisine, such as Fish tacos with huichol and ají salsa; Shrimp aguachile with cucumber and green mango, or the restaurant’s signature Guacamole Nacionalista complete with gold grasshopper. To follow, the main dishes include Scrambled eggs Mexican style with black beans and maize totopos and Mexican bread stuffed with slow cooked pork and adobo salsa – a particularly popular hangover cure in Mexico. Alternatively, the Roasted beef suadero style with avocado sauce, radish and spring onions is perfect for sharing, served with soft corn tortillas for guests to create their own tacos.
Complementing the menu, creative side dishes include Cactus salad with tomatoes and serrano chile and Slow-cooked black beans with beer, bacon and chile de árbol. To complete this Mexican feast, guests can enjoy some Fantásticos churros Mexicanos served with both delicious bitter chocolate and sweet caramel sauces.
The bar at Ella Canta is renowned for its extensive collection of mezcals and tequilas, with the inventive cocktail list inspired by the traditional margarita and many of the unique ingredients that Mexico has gifted to the world. The bar team have been inspired by these ingredients to create the flight of colourful margaritas that are available alongside the brunch, in flavours including lavender, grapefruit, hibiscus, and pistachio, each of which match the different brunch courses.
