1. Brooklyn Nine-Nine – “HalloVeen”

Brooklyn Nine-Nine unknowingly started a Halloween tradition when they aired their first Halloween special in season one. The tradition has since been repeated every season due to the positive response it received from its dedicated fanbase.
Each year the Nine-Nine tries to outdo each other during increasingly elaborate heists to be awarded the title “Amazing Human/Genius“, and “HalloVeen” is no different. The episode is the fifth annual Halloween heist and became one of the most iconic and emotional episodes of the series.
2. Friends – “The One With The Halloween Party”

In ‘The One With the Halloween Party’, Monica decides to host a Halloween party that encourages the loveable characters to dress up in some pretty iconic costumes, from Superwoman to a giant pink bunny.

3. Modern Family – “Halloween”

Modern Family’s ‘Halloween’ episode sees Claire transform the Dunphy residence into a haunted house and showcases her fierce dedication to Halloween.
According to Nielsen Media Research, “Halloween” became the most-viewed episode of the series and was viewed by an estimated 13.143 million households in its original American broadcast.
4. The Big Bang Theory – “The Middle Earth Paradigm”

In the first ever Halloween special of The Big Bang Theory, ‘The Middle Earth Paradigm’, the gang are invited to Penny’s Halloween party, which they excitedly agree to when they realise it’s a costume party.
As expected, the characters go all out with their costumes, from Frodo and Robin Hood, to The Doppler Effect and the Norse god Thor.
5. Parks and Recreation – “Greg Pikitis”

Parks and Recreation have a total of three Halloween specials throughout the series, but ‘Greg Pikitis’ receives the highest rating and is a firm favourite among fans.
In this spooky episode, Leslie does her best to catch her ‘archnemesis’ who vandalises the park every Halloween, to try and stop him and show that justice is served. Meanwhile, Ann tries and fails to host a fun Halloween party, until Tom saves the day.
6. The Office (US) – “Costume Contest”

It’s Halloween at Dunder Mifflin and the office is getting extra competitive over a costume contest, when the prize is announced as a Scranton-area coupon book that people mistakingly believe is worth $15,000.
Throughout the episode, we see the characters in iconic costumes, from Dracula and a mummy, to Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber.
7. New Girl – “Halloween”

In this New Girl Halloween special, Jess takes on a job as a zombie in a haunted house and invites the group to join her for a night there.
The episode brings all the Halloween vibes, including fun costumes and lots of humour sure to get you in the mood for the spooky season.
