More names have been released for the Reading & Leeds Festival 2017. With a selection of names for the Alternative stage announces as well as other acts across the music stages at the event, the festival weekend is gearing up to one of the best of the festival season.
Taking place between the 25th and 27th of August this year, a number of big names have been announced including Simon Amstell, Bill Bailey and Katherine Ryan. Simon Amstell will be heading to the Reading & Leeds festival after experiencing a massively successful year, the Popworld and Never Mind the Buzzcocks host has also experienced popularity for his stand up routines and mockumentary, Carnage.
Bill Bailey is returning to the Reading & Leeds stages this year after a festival stealing performance last year, a well known comedian, panel show stapel and Black Books Star will no doubt produce another epic show this August. Katherine Ryan has completed two sell out UK tours and international performances as well as being the second British-based comedian to release a Netflix Original Comedy Special with Katherine Ryan: In Trouble On Netflix. Katherine will be displaying her sharp cultural critiques and enthusiastic personality to the festival go-ers at Reading & Leeds this summer.
Also named to perform are Tape Face, the prop-lead performer, viral political commentator Jonathan Pie, and a visit from the famous Piff the Magic Dragon. Seann Walsh and Matt Richardson have also been announced to perform at the Reading festival only.
The Alternative Stage offers those at the festival a different entertainment as well as the musical performances also scheduled for the weekend. The amazing music line up planned for the festival includes headliners Eminem, Muse and Kasabian as well as the indie Club night Propaganda, Wrexham based pop-punk band Neck Deep and the increasingly popular Sigrid and many, many more.
