The UK’s number one Pork Pie brand, Pork Farms, launches the Pork Farmers’ Mash-up campaign, looking out for the next big rap star. Hopeful contenders have the chance of winning a £1,000 cash prize and the opportunity to record and produce a Pork Farms’ track and music video.
The Pork Farmers’ Mash-up judges are DJ and Presenter, Chris Stark and Music Producer & Founder of Hot Money Studios, Patrick Osei, who will be selecting and announcing the winner in June. In order to enter the competition, solo artists and groups are required to record a short video of themselves rapping either a well-known song or their own original verse, which can then be uploaded on the Pork Farmers’ Mash-up competition page on the brand’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/porkfarmsporkpies.
The campaign is part of a 2018 wide scale marketing campaign for the brand, consisting of new limited edition pies, print, broadcast and outdoor advertising, in store support and an on-pack promotion, which will start this month and will offer consumers the chance to win a variety of prizes, ranging from National Trust membership to family days out.
“We’re very excited about the Pork Farmers’ Mash-up competition here at Pork Farms and are looking forward to hearing the entries. It’s a unique opportunity for contestants to get creative, show off their talents and be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize,” said Kim Burgess, head of marts at Addo Food Group.
The competition was launched at the National Federation of Young Farmer’s Clubs AGM on Friday, the 4th of May and will be live until the 30th of May 2018.
Pork Farms Pork Pies is part of the Addo Food Group and was established in 1931, growing to become the Nation’s Favourite brand of Pork Pies. The brand is famous for its pork pies, selling over 20 million pies every year.
