Sweden vs Finland U20: World Juniors Live, Stream WJC 2024, IIHF TV Channel

Switzerland and Norway kicked off the day, while Germany, which pulled off one of the upsets of the tournament so far when they beat Finland 4-3 on Dec. 27, faces Latvia.

Through four days, USA and Sweden, who beat Hockey Canada 2-0 on Dec. 29, are undefeated in group play.  USA Hockey and Hockey Canada are considered the favorites at the WJC, but host Sweden could have a shot, according to Chris Peters. Youth World Ice Hockey Championship, a match between the national teams of Finland and Sweden is scheduled. The encounter will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden, on Sunday, December 31st at 8.30 am ET

Despite their loss to Germany and an overall dreadful performance throughout the round-robin, the Finns remain a threat because of their potential. They look completely off-kilter in comparison to the typical Finnish squads that come to international events.
