Hilton have appointed a new Food and Beverage Manager for their location at London Bankside. Thanasis Chondrozoumakis has been appointed into this role at the London Hotel after working as the Food and Beverage Manager at the Millennium Hotel Knightsbridge. Thanasis worked in his previous role since 2014 and before this he worked as the Outlet Manager at the award winning Park Room restaurant at Grosvenor House, A J W Marriott Hotel. It was in this position that he first began his career in the capital city and has managed to develop a great deal of experience which will be invaluable for his new role.
The Hilton London Bankside has been open since October 2015 and has been working to offer excellent service to guests staying in their 292 guests rooms and the visitors to the OXBO Bankside eatery The Distillery Bar. The Hotel also has 25 bespoke suites for guests, with sensational views of the London city skyline. OXBO Bankside is a popular eatery that offers an all-day dining menu managed by the Executive Chef Paul Bates. The Distillery offers a relaxed and modern space popular as a meeting point in the area.
Thanasis will be working at the London Bankside Hotel to oversee the operations of the OXBO Bankside restaurant as well as The Distillery Bar and the In-Room Dining and Executive Lounge experiences for guests of the Hilton. Thanasis Chondrozoumakis will also be involved in the development of the outdoor dining spaces at the London Bankside location which are found on Princes Street.
Thanasis Chondrozoumakis has worked to develop bars in the past, with involvement with JW Steakhouse and the Malmaison which is located in Oxford. Thanasis has worked for more than ten years in the hotel food and beverage industry and is said to be energetic and ambitious as well as having a strong work ethic that will be ideal for leading the developments at the Hilton London Bankside.
