Former international fashion model Jannica Klingborg, known for her work with iconic brands like Calvin Klein and Armani, has transitioned to a fulfilling career in yoga instruction, attributing naked yoga as the catalyst for her personal and professional transformation. Struggling with body image and unhealthy habits linked to her modelling career, Klingborg found liberation in naked yoga, leading her to a role as a premier instructor at True Naked Yoga.
“Yoga is yoga no matter if you are wearing clothes or not,” says Klingborg, highlighting the emancipating aspect of the practice. Initially drawn to yoga for its physical benefits, she quickly discovered its capacity to provide mental and emotional relief. “The practice began to unravel not only the knots in my body but also in my mind,” she shares.
Shifting away from the pressures of the fashion industry, Klingborg pursued a journey of self-discovery through yoga, evolving into a full-time yoga teacher and Reiki healer. Since 2020, she has been integral to True Naked Yoga, where she develops tutorials and teaches others seeking healing and empowerment through naked yoga.
Looking back, Klingborg reflects, “Yoga saved me.” Her ongoing yoga practice has significantly improved her mental health, lifestyle habits, and overall outlook on life, serving as an inspirational figure for those navigating similar challenges, demonstrating the life-altering power of yoga in fostering self-acceptance and love.
