Bert & May is pleased to debut several new tile collections at Decorex 2023 – Borders, Art Deco, and Solstice, and introduce a new Matt Glazed tile collection as well as three new colours – Madder, Rosemary and Mineral Blue – to its curated colour palette.
Part of a series of launches celebrating Bert & May’s 10th anniversary in 2023, the new collections preview alongside the brand’s recently introduced Marbled and Striped designs, as well as a curated display of Reclaimed tiles. Each new collection is available to customise in bespoke colourways using any colours from Bert & May’s curated palette of over 40 shades.

The next in a series of launches celebrating its 10th anniversary year, Bert & May’s Borders collection was uniquely designed to loosely represent the brand name: B, &, and M reimagined in familiar graphic shapes. Designed to be used individually or together to create unique trims, the Borders collection can be mixed and matched to create completely new formations.

Art Deco

Inspired by architectural forms, symmetry in design and stylistic curves, the Art Deco collection has the iconic Bert & May pared-back look while evoking a sophisticated aesthetic with forms inspired by the art deco movement. Opulent and elegant, the collection consists of two designs; Art Deco Arches and Art Deco Loop, and is available to order in custom colours for a design that will feel both classic and contemporary depending on the colour combination.

Solstice

The new Solstice collection features a series of cement tiles with bold graphic silhouettes reminiscent of the transitional shapes in the sun’s journey from solstice to equinox and back. The collection features the iconic Bert & May geometric look and focuses on curves and circular forms.
This collection embraces Bert & May’s love of offering the user endless tessellations and possibilities with the design layout, allowing customers freedom to mix and match designs, to use them as playful borders, or create unique formations.
New colours and Glazed tile collection

Bert & May is also delighted to announce three new colours to its signature palette: Madder, Rosemary and Mineral Blue. Madder is a deep and moody reddish brown, Rosemary is a soft, tranquil and restful green, while Mineral Blue is an earthy and grounding blue with grey undertones.

Expanding on its existing glazed tile range, Bert & May introduces a new series of Matt Glazed tiles in four colours inspired by its antique tile archives: Bay Green, a muddy, warm toned green; Marigold, a rich and earthy baked terracotta; Rolling Fog, a versatile neutral; and classic White. Bert & May also adds two new colours to its core glossy Glazed tile collection: Marigold, and Garnet, a rich, deep red.
