1. Pink Christmas Decor
Leading the interior decor trend for the season is pink Christmas decorations, with combined annual Google searches and TikTok views of over 54.9 MILLION! No doubt influenced by the Barbie summer we’ve just had, having a pink theme for your festive decor is a unique choice and there are many options to choose from, such as pink garlands, baubles, or even a pink Christmas tree! Whether it’s vibrant or pastel pink, this aesthetic offers a modern, feminine touch to an otherwise classic colour scheme, especially when paired with silver.
2. Vintage Christmas Decor
The second trending style of Christmas decor is vintage Christmas decor, with combined Google searches and TikTok views of over 31.1M. A classic for a reason, vintage Christmas decor is perfect for those maximalists who love a traditional red, white and green colour scheme. Playing on sentimentality and nostalgia, a vintage Christmas look can be achieved with mismatched baubles, bright lighting and a splash of colour in every corner of the room. It’s perfect because it complements most, if not all, wood and metal finishes, so it will easily match your existing home decor.
3. Farmhouse Christmas Decor
The third trending style of Christmas decor this season is farmhouse Christmas decorations, with a combined total of over 4M searches on Google and TikTok views respectively. Bringing some rustic, country charm to your home, farmhouse decor consists of natural, earthy tones combined with pops of traditional Christmas colours – red, white and green. To achieve this look, choose items with plaid patterns, such as throw pillows or stockings, wooden beaded tree decorations, wooden accents in ornaments and hints of natural green wreaths and garlands.
4. Blue Christmas Decor
Trending in fourth place is a blue style of Christmas decor, with over 3M Google searches and TikTok views this past year. Similar to pink Christmas decor, this focal point on one colour can work well when executed correctly! Different shades of blue will add dimension to your interiors and prevent a flat, 2D look from developing, whilst achieving a wintery and cool effect. And just like with pink, you can buy a blue Christmas tree, or decorate a regular one with blue baubles, tinsel and lights!
5. Woodland Christmas Decor
The fifth trending style of Christmas decor this year is woodland Christmas decorations, with over 1.7M Google searches and views on TikTok respectively. Celebrating mother nature, this style of decor features nature-inspired ornaments, such as woodland creatures and inhabitants, from squirrel statues to hanging Christmas tree acorns. Woodland decor embraces warm, autumnal tones of rust, plum, chocolate and fern shades, and is perfect for those looking to create a cosy, warmth-filled home.

“Creating a holiday space that brings you comfort and cheer is what’s important, whether you have an all-pink aesthetic or classic, vintage decorations. These trending styles should act as a guide to choosing the theme that’s perfect for you, whilst incorporating popular aesthetics for this holiday season!”
