The Ritz Carlton, Abama, Tenerife will be welcoming the popular Flamenco star Sara Baras this Autumn. Visiting the luxurious resort to perform at the inaugural gala dinner on the 14th October 2017, Sara Bara will be a part of a jam packed and exciting programme of events on the West coast of the beautiful Canary Island.
The luxurious Ritz-Carlton has developed a reputation for delivering amazing Michelin accredited food and vibrant culture of the island with an exceedingly high quality of service. This Autumn the resort will be hosting Sara Baras, one of Spain’s biggest talents, and a globally acclaimed Flamenco Dancer.
The inaugural gala dinner, of which Sara’s performance will be the headline, will be taking place in order to deliver a beautiful collaboration of dance and cuisine, a merging of two of Spain’s greatest exports. Baras is considered to be one of the world’s greatest Flamenco dancers, and has been performing the Flamenco since she was a child in Cadiz in the 1970s. Sara is the daughter of a dancer and dance school owner, and has been the director, choreographer and principal dancer at Ballet Flamenco which she established 20 years ago.
The eight Michelin star chef Martin Berasategui will also be involved with the inaugural gala dinner, curating the menu for guests to enjoy. Martin Berasategui has managed to make the Ritz-Carlton, Abama world renowned with his two-star M.B. and the newly launched Txoko, which will no doubt rise to a similar level of popularity and acclaim. The menu for the gala dinner will reflect Berasategui’s creativity, inventiveness and expertise in terms of flavour while showing a deep level of respect for the ingredients used throughout.
This event of the 14th October will be an outstanding launch to a series of event with will highlight everything on offer t=on the West coast of the volcanic island of Tenerife.
