The English Institute of Sport (EIS) has just started a new partnership with Mindful Chef, UK’s number one healthy recipe box delivery service. Together they will be working to educate and support British athletes, offering nutritionally balanced meals, recipes, and culinary training, making sure that the next generation of athletes has access to the right food and the knowledge required in order to effectively fuel their bodies for success in 2020.
“We’re incredibly proud to be supporting British athletes on their journey to Tokyo 2020. It’s a huge endorsement of the nutritional value of our service that we have been picked as an official supplier to the English Institute of Sport, and amazing for our customers to know that they are eating the same great food as Britain’s best athletes,” said the Co-founder of Mindful Chef, Myles Hopper.
Backed by sporting stars such as Victoria Pendleton CBE, Sir Andy Murray, Tom Daley, and Will Greenwood MBE, Mindful Chef offers a healthy recipe box delivery service packed with lean and sustainably sourced ingredients. The boxes include no refined carbs and guarantee exceptional quality, gluten-free, dairy-free, and locally sourced fresh produce. All the recipes and ingredients are scrutinised by personal trainer and nutritional coach Myles.
Mindful Chef was founded in 2015 by Myles and Giles, two young men from Devon. At the moment, it offers twelve weekly changing recipes to choose from, with a least four containing fresh, locally sourced meat and fish, vegetables and herbs and spices. It also has four plant-based recipes available each week. The boxes are delivered throughout the UK free of charge.
The EIS was established in 2002 and since its inception it has worked with sports to deliver a range of performance-impacting solutions leadin
