A new and exclusive range of artisan Italian products have been launched by Eurostar Commodities, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of the finest commodities and innovative ingredients, in partnership with authentic Italian producers. The different products will be available to foodservice, wholesale, food manufacturing and retail starting with July 2018.
Core brands such as Della Terra, Donna Chiara and Fior di Maiella are part of the range, offering a complete authentic Italian cooking experience to produce a variety of Italian dishes. The development expands Eurostar commodities recent success with their range of GMI (Grandi Molini Italiani) new artisan Italian flours and their Technical Development Manager’s success at the 2018 Campionato Mondiale Della Pizza. We are seeing a movement in the UK towards a much more artisan approach to Italian food with more emphasis being put on quality ingredients and technique. British consumers have evolved and so we are bringing a range that will satisfy the most sophisticated foodie. At the same time we’re making it easy for businesses to offer authentic tasting Italian food,” explained Philip Bull, Managing Director of Eurostar Commodities.
The Donna Chiara pasta range is an exclusive Italian pasta made since 1967. A good quality pasta made from high quality durum wheat semolina, it will be available in five varieties: spaghetti, fusilli, small penne, fettuccine nests and Capelli d’Angelo.
Della Terra are 100% Italian tomatoes from Alfonso Sellitto from San Severino near Naples, with no added preservatives, dyes or flavours. The brand will launch with two varieties: Plum Tomatoes and Pizza Ready Sauce.
Fior di Maiella is a range of Italian seasoning, personally sourced and chosen for outstanding flavour. The herbs and plants are grown on the side of the Maiella Mountain in Abruzzo, with the range including a convenient dried herb mix of basil, thyme, parsley, red pepper and option chilli, as well as a pizza seasoning mix.
