BrewDog is to launch vegan delivery hubs in Edinburgh and Glasgow as part of a UK-wide collaboration with food brand Biff’s. The venture follows the launch of an all-vegan bar between the brands in London last year, offering plant-based ‘junk’ food snacks such as Biff’s Crispy Fried Jackfruit burgers and wingz.
The Biff’s Lightning Jack burger has also been added to Elgin-based drinks firm BrewDog’s main bar menus. The two firms say the combination of vegan and online food delivery brings together two of the fastest growing trends in the UK food market.
Sites are also operating from Biff’s and BrewDog sites in London’s Shoreditch, Brixton, Paddington, Camden, and Shepherd’s Bush; and, Manchester, Liverpool, Norwich, Reading, and Cardiff.
BrewDog retail director James Brown said: “At BrewDog we love collaborating with innovators and creators. In Biff’s we found our perfect match, pushing boundaries in the world of vegan food, masters of their own craft and incredible attention to detail when it comes to their product.
“The partnership started nearly a year ago when we opened our first ever vegan BrewDog bar in Dalston, and customer feedback has been overwhelming. The next logical step was to help bring Biff’s to a wider audience using our BrewDog network of bars and kitchens.
“Delivery is a huge part of our retail strategy for the next few years, with the launch of BrewDog Now App in all markets globally to bring fresh draft beer to your door within the hour. The Biff’s partnership adds another income stream and opportunity to deliver great craft beer to people’s homes alongside some killer vegan food.”
