Celebrate International Gin and Tonic Day on Thursday 19th October with Micil Distillery’s very own handcrafted Irish gins.
Micil Distillery’s unique gins are West of Ireland takes on contemporary dry gin, made using local flowers and herbs that are macerated in copper pot stills overnight and have remained in the still during distillation. They’re inspired by the bogs, hedgerows and seashore of Connemara, and the historical trade links with Southern Europe that gave Galway City its distinctly Latin feel.

Tasting notes: A balance of citrus, spice and rich floral flavours. A fragrant citrus nose, with hints of heather and bog-myrtle, gives way to classic juniper and sweet liquorice notes, warm spice and a silky lasting finish.

A reimagining of Micil Distillery’s classic gin, distilled with handpicked Connemara flowers and herbs, and enriched with vibrant orange zest and warm rounded spice. In celebration of Galway’s maritime past, Micil Distillery took the 17 base botanicals from their classic Irish Gin and added orange zest and spice. Connemara meets Latin Europe!
Tasting notes: Distinct warming orange notes, with classic Micil heather and floral tones. Balancing sweet and tart textures lead to a round, spicy finish.
