Fan favourite now available for vegans and non-vegans to enjoy!
Ben & Jerry’s fans cast the line and the Flavour Gurus fell hook, line and sinker for the bait. Introducing – by popular demand – Ben & Jerry’s Non-Dairy Phish Food, the latest catch in a line-up of chunky, swirly vegan ice creams.
The chocolate ice cream rocks all the gooey marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls and chocolatey fish shaped chunks that Phish Food is so loved for but without the dairy. Instead of milk and cream, almonds takes centre stage in the vegan friendly version of the all-time fan favourite.
Ben & Jerry’s fans have been hooked on Phish Food since it was first created in 1997 with jam band Phish to celebrate shared Vermont roots. Fast forward nearly 25 years and a non-dairy version now joins the growing line-up of certified vegan flavours that are made without animal products of any kind including eggs, dairy or honey.
Just like all Ben & Jerry’s tubs, Non-Dairy Phish Food is lovingly made with Fairtrade ingredients including cocoa, sugar and vanilla. The ice cream base mix is also made using traceable cocoa beans that are sourced through Tony’s Open Chain, the latest step in the company’s cocoa journey towards a more ethical future for cocoa production.
Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Guru, Gabby Smith said: “Our fans have been hooked on Phish Food for the last 25 years and it’s o-phish-ally getting the non-dairy encore it deserves. Just like its dairy double, the new Non-Dairy Phish Food will continue to support social action with funds from each sale being donating to the Waterwheel Foundation, a not-for-profit that addresses environmentally focused community needs in Vermont, the home of Ben & Jerry’s and Phish the band.
