The start of each year is when many people decide on a new year’s resolution that usually get forgotten after a couple of weeks, and a more recent concept that has gained popularity over the last few years is that of ‘Dry January’, when people attempt to avoid alcohol consumption for the full month.
However, this year food and drink business MEATliquor has launched a new range of menus entitled ‘DRY(ISH) JANUARY’, which includes new food and drink options that promotes a different outlook on the ‘Dry January’ craze by providing healthier options for the food and alcohol free options on the drinks.
MEATliquor is a food and drink chain with restaurants and bars across the UK and abroad, in locations such as London, Brighton, Leeds, Bristol & Singapore, and it is known for its high quality food and outstanding interior décor which creates a great atmosphere in each restaurant.
The term ‘Dry(ISH)’ is used because despite the menu containing options that are alcohol free and healthier, for each drink it also recommends which alcoholic liquor or spirit would be best suited, so for those who are not participating and fancy an alcoholic beverage the option is still there.
So what is on the menus? The stand out options on the food menu comes in the shape of the Topoppaz, which is deep fried cheese & jalapeno poppaz served with a ranch dressing and hobo beer cheese, along with the FILTH PIE which is an Oreos, marshmallow, coconut & chocolate pie served warm with ice cream.
In terms of the cocktails, a couple of stand outs on that menu are the AlsoBLUTO and the TURNING JAPANESE, which are a spinach, fresh lemon juice, cane sugar and apple concoction and a tasty green tea and milkshake mix respectively.
