A brand new range of dips from Merchant Gourmet, the market-leading healthy pulses, grains, seeds and chestnuts brand, is available in selected supermarkets. This range demonstrates the brand’s motivation to bring innovation to the category, while offering consumers an alternative to the usual tomato or hummus-based dips that are currently available.
The dips build on the success of Merchant Gourmet’s London pop-up restaurant and are in-keeping with the brand’s pulses heritage. They are centred around delicious store cupboard ingredients, including Puy lentils, Beluga lentils and Chestnuts, with two of them already being shortlisted for the Quality Food Awards 2018 (Chestnut & Red Pepper, Beluga Lentil in the dips category).
“We’re so excited to unveil our range of dips across the UK after months of hard work and dedication to the development. We wanted the dips to remain true to our heritage of grains, pulses, seeds and chestnuts, so we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created whilst expanding into the chilled section. At Merchant Gourmet, we’re all about making it easy for pulses and grains to be a regular part our everyday diet without compromising on taste, and we believe we’ve hit the nail on the head with the range of dips,” said Nyree Chambers, Head of Brand at Merchant Gourmet.
The full range of dips is available in select Sainsbury’s stores across the UK for £2.19 and more information can be found below.
