Restaurant and Nathan Outlaw has been announced as the best restaurant in the UK by the Good Food Guide. The two-Michelin-star restaurant in Cornwall managed to knock L’Enclume off the top spot, a position they’ve held onto for four years.
Restaurant Nathan Outlaw looks out over the fantastic Cornish coastline, but for those wanting to try the Nathan Outlaw somewhere further afield, he has recently opened the Nathan Outlaw Al Mahara at the amazing 7* Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai. A range of popular and acclaimed chefs ranked highly in the Good Food Guide, but Nathan Outlaw managed to beat them all with is brilliant Cornish restaurant. A number of the acclaimed chefs in the Guide have also opened up their own outposts in Dubai. It would appear that Dubai is the place to go when expanding on an international scale.
Nathan Outlaw’s restaurant in Dubai will used the best ingredients sourced from all around the world in order to deliver a menu that has been designed specifically for the Dubai restaurants. As part of this menu, Nathan will use Oysters that have been sourced in his home county of Cornwall. On the menu at his recently opened Dubai restaurant is Lobster Risotto, Crispy Cooked Oyster served with Caviar, Raw Scallops and Citrus Cured Brill. Nathan Outlaw Al Mahara and Burj Al Arab Jumeirah will also be launching a new menu before their first anniversary in September.
Nathan has done remarkably well, with his new Dubai restaurant opening only a year before taking the title of best restaurant in the UK. Nathan Outlaw focuses on delivering simple and delicious seafood dishes with ingredients sourced from sustainable suppliers. In order to showcase the focus on seafood dishes, the restaurant featured a floor-to-ceiling aquarium, giving the restaurant a luxury underwater feel.
