This weekend Radici, which is Francesco Mazzei’s much-loved Islington trattoria, will be launching a new brunch menu revolving around the knockout Brunch Pinsa for two to share. Created by Francesco and his newly appointed Head Chef Giuseppe Cafaro, the brunch is meant to be a playful and delicious take on several classic combinations.
With plans to become a classic on the London brunch scene, the menu features combinations such as smoked salmon and yogurt, poached eggs and avocado, and prosciutto and mushroom. Other brunch dishes that were inspired by the warm climate and the amazing ingredients of Italy, include Tuscany meets Puglia with pappa pomodoro, burrata and anchovy; Cannellini bean stew with poached eggs and sausage; and Ciambotta, grilled pumpkin, mushrooms and torpedino tomatoes.
Francesco and Giuseppe have not forgotten those that enjoy finishing their meal with something sweet, so they created the Grilled pineapple and pancetta pancakes with, mascarpone, honey and orange, which is a reinterpretation of the prosciutto and melon and the Canadian bacon pancakes.
Those of you who think this sounds like something they would enjoy, then you should know that for an additional £15 per person you can add unlimited prosecco to your meal. Radici is the perfect place where you can spend a lazy weekend away from the busy life of London, enjoying British brunch dishes with a plus of Italian extravaganza. Its laid back atmosphere and rustic interiors will remind you of the landscapes of southern Italy and will make you feel warm again.
The brunch menu will be launched this Saturday, on the 17th of February, and it will be available only on Saturdays from 11am until 2.30pm and on Sundays from 11am until 4pm.
