The Speciality & Fine Food Fair has successfully come to a close for this year, however a large number of speciality food and drink producers are just starting on their road to success. The 18th annual trade show came back this year with a new look. The three day even offer the foodservice, retail, wholesale and hospitality buyers the opportunity to exhibit their delights to visitors.
The event took place at Olympia in London and visitors were able to explore a range of different artisan products. The exhibitors at the event included Cawston Press, Belvoir Fruit Farms, Brindisa, Burts Chips, Divine Chocolate, Dr Wills, Fairfield Farms, Van Strien, Snowdonia Cheese Company, Savoursmiths, Soda Folk, Vinegar Shed and many more. At the exhibition, buyers were able to discover and try the newest trends in speciality and fine foods on the market. This year the free-from market has remained strong, with a number of producers continuing to focus on this area of the market. Also the health and wellbeing market has seen a wide range of products at the Show, from functional teas, all natural condiments, free from nut butters, raw chocolate, chickpea crisps packed full of vitamin D and gourmet fruit lollies.
The Speciality & Fane Food Fair is the leading place to showcase and celebrate glorious food and drink from around the UK and beyond. The event was crammed with trade visitors including Waitrose, and Ocado, Whole Foods Market and Selfridges, as well as restaurants and hotels such as Claridge’s and Hakkasan Group. The food fair is a vital opportunity for producers to showcase their products to larger trade customers, as well as a great opportunity for buyers to meet the buyers and producers of the products they use.
With a range of cooking demonstrations as well as exhibition stands, roundtable discussions for practical business advice at the Scale Up workshops, the Speciality & Fine Food Fair offers a wide range of resources for buyers attending the Trade Show.
