The Feversham Arms Hotel in Helmsley, North Yorkshire, has relaunched its Sunday Lunch offering with a brand new menu. Its 2 AA Rosette restaurant, The Weathervane, has created the sumptuous new menu to expand its already popular dining offering and welcome a new wave of guests to the hotel during the busy weekend period.
The new menu includes a variety of dishes designed to make the traditional families happy. Some of the starters available are cream of celeriac soup with toasted hazelnuts and burkes blue cheese, pressing of ham hock, and a modern take on the classic prawn cocktail with king prawn tempura. For the main course, guests can enjoy a roast sirloin of beef with Yorkshire pudding, Skrei cod or wild mushroom risotto, followed by well-known puddings such as Bramley apple crumble, sticky date cake, or lemon tart. Those without a sweet tooth can order a continental cheese board.
“We’re really excited to be relaunching our Sunday Lunch menu this month. A traditional Sunday lunch holds a special place in so many of our hearts, so it’s great to have this to offer guests and visitors alike,” said Bobby Polkey, Group Marketing Manager at the Feversham Arms Hotel.
“While Sundays have always been a busy day for us, this new menu with delicious new dining options will hopefully attract an even wider audience to the hotel and restaurant. With so many people visiting Helmsley as a destination, we hope they’ll make us part of their day out and join us for a special Sunday Lunch,” he added.
Guests have the option of two course for £24 or three courses for £28 throughout the week, while the Sunday Lunch will be served every Sunday from 12.30pm until 3pm.
