INTERNATIONAL boutique fast-casual restaurant eeetwell has opened the doors to its first UK venue on Portobello Road, focusing on bringing wholesome and sustainable food to London’s health-conscious customers.
The new stylish 20-seater venue offers a colourful menu of nourishing salads, warm bowls, flavoursome wraps, as well as mouthwatering juices and smoothies. It aims to promote healthier habits both in eating and sourcing food, choosing to use only seasonal and local ingredients, with everything made from scratch.
eeetwell’s rich and diverse menu changes four times a year in line with the changing seasons, to ensure all ingredients are harvested at their prime for the highest levels of flavour and nutrients.
As the UK heads into autumn and winter, customers will be able to enjoy the bestselling Brooklyn Greens bowl – perfect for the colder weather. It consists of spiced and roasted chicken thighs, chevre cheese and roasted sweet potato on a bed of brown rice, crushed almonds, shredded kale and diced apples, finished with a drizzle of maple balsamic vinaigrette.
To ensure the freshest produce and build connections in the community, the new London venue has opted to source its ingredients from local and family-run fruit and vegetable market Devlin’s, which has traded near to the new eeetwell site at the market on Portobello Road for over 100 years.
Ammar Soltan, founder of eeetwell, said: “Launching our first UK venue is a huge moment and finding a place in London, the capital and forefront of the nation’s food scene, is something we have worked so hard to achieve. We’re proud to also be bringing a total of 12 jobs to the local area.
“Portobello Road is a bustling part of the city, well known for its incredible shopping experience and market history. It was therefore important that we not only source the best ingredients for our dishes, but that we support small and local businesses, and the nearby trader, Devlin’s was the perfect choice.”
Ammar added: “We can’t wait to show London what we’re all about, and help more people see the true power of food. We have already set our sights on further expansion across the UK, offering franchise opportunities and more chances to become part of the eeetwell family.”
