The National Afternoon Tea Awards 2018, held on the 24th of July 2018 at the Hotel Cafe Royal, London has awarded Royal Lancaster London the ‘Highly Commended’ Award.
The award ceremony took place in the historic Grade II listed grand Pompadour ballroom, where representatives from the finest hotels and restaurants around the UK gathered to recognise the crème de la crème of Afternoon Tea creativity and service. Guests were invited to indulge in Lanson champagne along with an exclusive tea tasting by Newby, the premier British fine tea company.
A panel of independent judges including internationally renowned pastry chefs, restaurant managers, food journalists and bloggers, assessed the entire customer experience from arrival to departure, focussing on the creativity and high level of service.
Royal Lancaster London’s Signature Afternoon Tea is served in the hotel’s elegant Hyde Bar from 2pm until 4.30pm. Afternoon Tea is priced at £35 per person; £45 with a glass of Moët & Chandon Brut Champagne; and £50 with a glass of Moët & Chandon Impérial Rosé Champagne.
