Three of Eden Hotel Collection’s hotels have been recognised by the AA in this year’s awards, presented at the Grosvenor House hotel in London.
Mallory Court Country House Hotel and Spa in Warwickshire has been awarded four AA Red Stars making it one of the finest examples of a four-star hotel in the Midlands. Set in 10 acres of gardens close to Leamington Spa, the 43-bedroom Mallory Court offers guests exceptional levels of service and warm hospitality. Recent additions to the hotel include the state-of-the-art Elan Spa, which opened in 2017 and the development of the hotel’s fine dining element, expertly managed by Head Chef Paul Evans. The hotel’s flagship restaurant, The Dining Room, provides gutsy menus with well-matched ingredients either sourced locally or home-grown in the immaculate vegetable garden.
The Greenway Hotel & Spa near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, has also been awarded four AA Red Stars for its exemplary standards, as well as 3AA Rosettes for its culinary excellence and service. Head Chef Marcus McGuinness and his team in the Garden Restaurant have been praised for their inventive menus which champion local producers in Gloucestershire and make use of the hotel’s home-grown plants, herbs and fruits.
The Kings Hotel, an 18th-century Cotswold-stone townhouse in the picturesque market town of Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, has also been awarded 3 AA Rosettes for the quality of its cuisine and high standards of service. Food at the cosy Jackrabbit Restaurant takes centre stage under the watchful eye of Head Chef Greg Newman.
“We are thrilled that Mallory Court and The Greenway have been recognised for their excellence in hospitality with their newly-awarded four AA Red Stars. Similarly, we are proud that both The Greenway and The Kings Hotel now boast 3 AA Rosettes, marking the interesting and hard-fought culinary developments at both hotels,” commented Mark Chambers, Managing Director at Eden Hotel Collection.
