The Small Business Network is delighted to announce its inaugural Local Businesses Summer Bash, taking place on 7th July 2024 at The Bedford pub in Balham. This lively community event will include a bustling marketplace, exciting taster sessions for both adults and children, and the opportunity to connect with fellow community members and local businesses over drinks.
Attendees will have the chance to peruse a range of market stalls featuring an array of products, from handcrafted art prints and cards to organic baby clothes and yoga apparel. Children can enjoy face painting and yoga classes, while adults can take part in practical workshops covering topics such as first aid, social media, video content creation, sales techniques, voice coaching, and embodied movement. Mini headshot sessions will also be available to improve your online profile.
Laura Shimili Mears, the event organiser, says, “Building on the success of our Christmas fair, we’re excited to present the Local Businesses Summer Bash! This event creates a vibrant platform for local businesses to showcase their offerings and connect with the Balham community. Come along and be part of it.”
Louise Downham of Louise Rose Photography states, “Video has become crucial for businesses to connect with customers, but many struggle with getting started. During the event, I’ll be holding complimentary video sessions for businesses. You can walk away with a short video clip perfect for your social media or website. Join me and let’s harness the power of video!”
