The UK’s favourite dessert parlour, Creams Café, is celebrating a summer of innovation with over seven new creative and fun desserts added to the menu. Award-winning for their innovation, Creams designed the new menu items to delight and surprise customers, whilst allowing dessert-lovers to enjoy their sweet treats on-the-go.
The aim of the game for Creams Café was to create a range of desserts which are innovative, shareable and portable – and crucially desserts which will bring joy and a smile to people’s faces. While summer is already a key trading period for the dessert parlour, the Creams team identified a consumer challenge; When the sun shines, people want to be able to take advantage of the nice weather and spend time outside rather than dining in. In response to this, they created a range of new menu items which answered the demand and allow people to be outside, engaging with their friends and family, all whilst still enjoying a step up from the classic ice cream.
The new products include:
In collaboration with Popworks, the Sweet Loaded Popped Corn Chips and Dip – Crunchy popped corn chips loaded with chocolate sauce, marshmallows, and cookie crumb, accompanied by vanilla soft ice cream to dip into. A shareable taste sensation!
- The Crookiewich – Warm cookie-dough in a toasted croissant, then filled with Creams’ signature gelato and finished off with chocolate drizzle and sprinkles. A sarnie like no other!
- Gelato Crofflewich – A waffled croissant toasted to perfection, filled with Creams’ signature gelato and then finished off with chocolate drizzle and sprinkles. Sandos gone sweet!
- Crispy Ice Cream Curls – Crispy pastry rolls filled with soft vanilla ice cream, topped with ‘magically crisp’ chocolate sauce and sprinkles. Eat from both sides and meet in the middle!
- Stuffed Pancake Bites – Bite-sized pancakes stuffed and oozing with hazelnut filling, dusted with raspberry powder and served with an indulgent toffee dipping sauce.
- Fruit Kebabs – A summery and light treat…Skewers of fresh grapes and juicy strawberries drizzled with hazelnut chocolate sauce, and served with vanilla soft serve to dip into.
- Smoothie Pots – Vibrant and refreshing smoothie pots featuring a variety of fruits, bursting with flavour and zing! Choose from Berry, Tropical or Lime Green.
