New partnership provides seamless end-to-end experience for Appetite users, with thousands of bookable restaurants through OpenTable
Today the UK-based ‘social-led’ restaurant discovery app Appetite has partnered with restaurant reservation and discovery platform OpenTable to integrate its booking technology – allowing Appetite users to complete their restaurant reservations journey in one place.
With the help of OpenTable, Appetite will now be able to give its users the option to make restaurant reservations based on availability, location, and time – with bookings taking a matter of seconds at the point of discovery.
This is in addition to Appetite’s existing offering which allows users to discover new restaurants, filtering places by cuisine, vibe and location, as well as tracking the places they’ve been to or want to go to.
By combining Appetite’s strengths of social-led word-of-mouth discovery with the power of OpenTable’s restaurant portfolio and bookings tool, both businesses continue their joint mission to help consumers discover and plan personalised dining experiences.
The partnership highlights OpenTable’s interest in supporting innovative UK-based startups that are challenging the status quo within the restaurant and hospitality industry. Crucially it will create a simpler and more enjoyable experience for Appetite app users – whilst also connecting restaurants with new audiences.
