BEST Cereal will be available in Morrisons from today (June 26th), its third national listing since launching in Tesco on 3rd March, as well as Iceland and The Food Warehouse on 19th June.
Developed by renowned cereal manufacturer Mornflake and launched by British YouTube collective the Sidemen, BEST Cereal’s impressive launch saw over 180,000 boxes sold in just the first few weeks, instantly making it the fastest-growing cereal in the country and the top-selling branded cereal pillow.
Its popularity shows no signs of wavering, with 500,000 boxes sold in its first three months.
The sell-out cereal first launched with an advert starring a debut performance from teenage darts sensation Luke ‘the Nuke’ Littler, which has helped the new brand power its way to the top of the cereal chart. This was the sports star’s first full advert and was seen over 10 million times.
More recently, viewers may have spotted the cereal on this summer’s most popular shows, including INSIDE (the biggest YouTuber content series) and ITV2’s Love Island (where it is available for the Islanders to enjoy).
BEST is now launching its latest campaign with YouTuber Sketch and is quickly becoming TV’s favourite cereal, making ‘airwaves’ across the broadcast universe.
The HFSS-compliant cereal is available in two flavours, Choco Crunch and Caramel Gold, both of which will be stocked in Morrisons stores across the UK and online, competitively priced at £2 for a 375g box.
The Sidemen’s manager, Jordan Schwarzenberger says, “The Morrisons announcement is adding yet another string to the BEST brand’s bow. The team has worked hard to create a cereal that is loved by all ages, and it seems to be working.
“We had huge success with the initial launch of BEST, and we’ve been flooded with fans complimenting the cereal and asking where else they can get their hands on it, so when Morrisons showed an interest, it was a no-brainer. We’re super excited to be able to give the people what they want – more places to buy BEST!”
BEST also has a partnership with Magic Breakfast, a UK-based charity that works to ensure children have access to a filling breakfast every day, which came about after the group heard four million children live in households that have experienced food insecurity. BEST will therefore also be donating a significant proportion of its profits directly to Magic Breakfast, so the additional retailers will also help support this wonderful charity.
