London’s favourite waffle dessert stop, Bubblewrap, has partnered with character brand BT21 to bring exclusive waffles and merchandise to celebrate the cutest collaboration yet.
BT21 is a globally loved character IP created by LINE FRIENDS stickers and South Korean pop superstars BTS, with 8 charming characters: TATA, VAN, KOYA, RJ, SHOOKY MANG, CHIMMY & CHOOKY.
BTS are the first music artists to partner with LINE FRIENDS. All members of the band actively participated in the development process of BT21 from start to finish, drawing sketches and bringing the whole IP to life.
The limited edition BT21 Bubblewrap collaboration features the cute and colourful characters, each with their own unique role in the world of Bubblewrap Waffle. KOYA holds the waffle combo while sleeping, and RJ cooks the waffles to perfection, SHOOKY offers vegan options and MANG attracts customers with his dance moves. CHIMMY is the manager and TATA adds beautiful designs to the waffles. COOKY provides excellent customer service and VAN helps out wherever needed.
Available from Thursday 1st August until the end of the year, fans will be able to grab adorable, Insta-worthy desserts featuring the characters with unique flavour combos inspired by BT21’s playful aesthetic. Launching with COOKY’S Dreamy Strawberry gelato topped with rich Nutella sauce and fresh strawberries. Additional flavours to be confirmed.
The exclusive merchandise includes a limited-edition tote bag, pin badges and t-shirts, all featuring the beloved characters. Available at Bubblewrap sites in Chinatown and Westfield Stratford City. Priced from £7.99.
