Scrumptious savoury snack brand, Cheesies, announces launch into 314 Asda stores.
20g bags of Cheddar Cheesies will be available on clip strips in Asda stores throughout the UK from 18 March.
Priced at £1.50 and just 122 Kcal, a 20g bag of Cheddar Cheesies is a deliciously moreish way to enjoy a daily dose of Vitamin C(heese). Made from nothing but pure, unadulterated, mouthwatering cheese, Cheesies are baked until crunchy and are the perfect (and one of the only) grab-and-go ambient cheese snacks on the market.
Cheesies’ Big Cheese, Max Rees, says: “The arrival of ambient cheese on shelves next to crisps and nuts is still somewhat of a novelty, and is allowing customers access to their favourite snack whilst on-the-go.
“We’re a nation of serial snackers and over the last six months the cheese snacking category has grown in line with the increasing recognition of cheese as a nutritious as well as a delicious snack. It’s a traditional comfort food that delivers on taste and on all-important protein, calcium and vitamin content.
“The upcoming launch into Asda follows our Waitrose listing and launch onto BA flights in 2023, opening up Cheesies and the concept of ‘permissible snacking’ to a whole new audience. We are on a mission to up the nation’s snack stakes and ensure even better access so that everyone can enjoy their favourite foodstuff wherever they are.”
Until the Asda launch on 18 March, Cheesies can be found on the shelves at Waitrose, Holland & Barrett, a large number of independent stores, and in the virtual aisles of Ocado, Amazon (where Cheesies ranks among the top 10 bestsellers in the multipack crisps category) and The Curators website. They are also served at 33,000 feet from the High Life shop.
