For two weeks only in July, Gaucho will be serving its Legacy menu, including the likes of its historic Ecuadorian Ceviche and legendary Lomo a la Milanese
Gaucho, the oldest Argentine steak restaurant in the UK, is thrilled to celebrate its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of exceptional dining inspired by the rich flavours and traditions of Latin American cuisine.
Founded in 1994, Gaucho opened its first restaurant in London Piccadilly, which remains Gaucho‘s flagship. Since humble beginnings in the basement of the building – which was once the Spanish ambassador’s residence – it now occupies all four floors as a sprawling 320-cover restaurant. For the past 30 years Gaucho expanded across London and the UK, where it now has eight restaurants in the capital and 12 in England, Wales and Scotland. The group continues to see exceptional growth, introducing new locations and continually refined and elevated menus.
To pay homage to Gaucho‘s rich history, the restaurant group is unveiling a special nostalgic menu. This exclusive GauchoRestaurant Week menu, available from 1st to 15th July, features iconic dishes that have defined Gaucho‘s journey. This Legacy menu will be available for just £30 and will be served with a heavily discounted £30 bottle of Malbec, to celebrate Gaucho‘s role as stocking the UK’s largest selection of Argentine wine – 30 years, £30 for three course and £30 wine.
Dish highlights from the vaults include its Ecuadorian Ceviche, debuted in 2012, when Gaucho became the first restaurant group to bring the now-ubiquitous cured fish dish to London. It will be followed by Lomo a la Milanese – an Argentinian staple made famous by its Italian immigrant community, which showcases high-quality steak served breadcrumbed in Milanese style, first served to diners in 2008. All will be rounded off with the OG Dulce de Leche Pancakes – using the same Dulce de Leche recipe from Gaucho‘s opening in 1994.
This limited-time menu provides an excellent opportunity for both long-time fans and new patrons to savour Gaucho‘s finest dishes and embrace a refreshed menu and dining experience.
Martin Williams, Gaucho CEO, says “For three decades, diners have celebrated seminal moments in their careers and personal lives at Gaucho, as we have brought the vibrant flavours and rich culinary traditions of Argentina and Latin America to the UK. As we celebrate this milestone, we are excited to reintroduce some of our most loved dishes, offering our guests a nostalgic flavour of our journey. This anniversary menu is not just a tribute to our past but a celebration of our continued success as the UK’s favourite premium dining restaurant group.”
