Hello Fresh also leads in brand visibility as it sees the biggest growth in online visibility, with a 4% increase.
Brands including Gousto, COOK, Pasta Evangelists, and Oddbox have also made it into the top five, with these increases in visibility highlighting a successful strategy and the demand for meal delivery services remains prevalent.
However, Riverford Organic Farmers, Abel & Cole, and Farmison & Co are among the brands recording the biggest drop in organic visibility, suggesting a declining demand for farm-grown produce.
Brett Janes, Managing Director at Salience Search Marketing, said:
“Since lockdown, the success of meal delivery service companies has been amplified, with customers more inclined to receive meals straight to their doorstep.
“It’s clear that a successful strategy has been implemented within brands such as Hello Fresh and Gousto – with both companies ranking within the top five most prominent brands and receiving the biggest growth year on year.
“For this industry in particular, it’s vital that brands understand the importance of online prominence, which is a key drive to conversion and overall business success.
“Despite Simply Cook ranking as the fourth most prominent meal delivery service brand, they’ll need to revisit and repurpose their strategy to ensure their brand visibility doesn’t continue to drop, as this year’s report revealed.
“Overall, building a strong following and online presence across multiple channels becomes vital in driving sales and capitalising on the expanding market demand.”
