Ahead of the Euros 2024 kicking off on June 14th before ending in Berlin on 14th July, Mystery Football have revealed the ultimate Bar Crawl to the final by analysing review data from RateBeer to reveal the best bars and breweries for a pint along the way
-
The routes – by rail or road – have been revealed in a map and travel across 4 countries
-
According to the data, Brussels takes the top spot for having the best pints
As we make travel plans for the Euros, many are likely to turn to the most common mode of transport for a European trip – a plane ride.
However, with the average cost of a flight from London to Berlin Brandenburg costing £277.442 in the month of the Euros final (July), is there a cheaper – and more fun – way to get there?
Mystery Football have calculated the average cost of travelling by car by averaging the price of petrol, toll road and channel tunnel train charges versus the average price of rail tickets to reveal the cheapest route.
The data revealed that the cheapest way to get to the Olympiastadion, Berlin is by car, costing £59.75 per person in a car of four. This works out as just over £200.00 (£217.69) cheaper than the average flight cost in July and £42.84 cheaper than travelling by rail.*
