This Summer, London’s foodie fanatics are in for a treat as Summer in the Square gears up to present a culinary first. On the 10th and 11th of July, Nobu Catering, by Nobu Hotel London Portman Square will be taking over the Guest Kitchen, sponsored by Portman Marylebone, with its world-class Japanese-Peruvian cuisine.
For the first time, visitors will have the chance to experience Nobu’s exquisite dishes, starting from £15, al fresco style in Portman Square Garden.
The free family-friendly event will also see the return of the favourited ‘Wellness Den’ which will host a line-up of free and by donation sustainable activities and workshops including:
- Lunchtime yoga and Pilates sessions from Fitness First and BXR boxing from BXR London.
- Something for the weekend, little ones can join a bug hotel making workshop or get into the zen with kids yoga hosted by Tanvi Kulkarni.
- For kids and adults alike looking for a something a little more energetic – join the Circus skills workshops from Juan Herrera.
- For budding crafters why not join the Vegan lip balm workshop from Fais Botanicals or create a sculpture with the Crafty Jezebels using the eco-resin Jesmonite.
- Or if you’re eager to invigorate both body and palate – a host of delicious drink tasting workshops and pop-up smoothie bars will take over the den.

All activities in the Wellness Den have an optional donation to the Young Westminster Foundation, this excludes the wine tastings with Philglass & Swiggot which will be a mandatory donation of around £5 or £10.

Live screenings: Wimbledon and Paris 2024 Olympic Games
Making the most of the upcoming summer of sport, for the first time ever, Marylebone is bringing Games in the Garden, extending the event to screen the Paris 2024 Olympic Games from Wednesday 7 August – Sunday 11 August, as well as Wimbledon.
Whether it’s to watch the Wimbledon matches or cheering for Team GB at the Paris Olympics, Summer in the Square is amongst London’s best outdoor screening spaces. Entry is free and plenty of seating and coverage, means its accessible to all to enjoy the renowned sporting events in the sunshine!
This year’s screenings sponsor British crisp brand Pipers, will be dishing out free samples of their favourite flavours every day during Summer in the Square and Games in the Garden.
